About Me

I started this blog in 2013 when I moved away for university as I wanted to do something productive with my free time (you don't feel as guilty about the Netflix binge sessions if you balance them out with something that involves some sort of brain power..) Unfortunately, you won't find many of these posts as every now and again, I like to wipe the slate clean and have a re-vamp. 

However what you will find is lots of outfit inspiration, red carpet looks and fashion trends that I'm currently loving. Although this is mainly a fashion-based blog, I also have a passion for film so you can expect to see the odd film review/recommendation as I go to the cinema most weeks (Meerkat Movies is a blessing!) You'll also find some travel and beauty content thrown in every now and again as well.

What is the meaning behind your blog name? I knew that my blog was going to be about style and then "Charlou" is a combination of my first and middle names (Charlotte and Louise). Not the most inventive but it does the job! 

When is your birthday? 18th April 

What is your job?: I'm a supervisor in fashion retail. 

What are your three star signs?: Aries sun, Sagittarius moon and Cancer rising

Did you go to university?: Yes, I went to Sheffield Hallam and I have a 2:1 in Media Studies

Who is your favourite singer?: Justin Bieber

Favourite band?: The Vamps

What is your favourite food?: Pizza or a roast dinner  

Favourite colour?: Pink

Describe your style?: Classic, chic and simple. You can't go wrong with jeans, a blazer and a white tee

Where do you buy most of your clothes?: New Look 

Do you have a favourite film?: I can't choose just one! 10 Things I Hate About You, Mrs. Doubtfire and Dirty Dancing are my top 3
